Become a Member

We look forward to having you join as a club member! To join, please click on the application link below. It includes our waivers of liability, ORC code of conduct, and dues payment options. If you are not an experienced rower or sculler, we suggest starting with either a learn to row session or learn to scull package before filling out this application.

Your membership dues include full access to the club facilities, equipment, as well as voting privileges and regatta participation. We offer one class of membership – full member – with three categories.

  • Individual Member – An individual age 18 or older
  • Family Member – Relatives, all of whom are 18 or older
  • Collegiate Summer Member – An individual age 18 or older wishing to row during summer break between June and August

After you submit your application, one of our volunteers will help match you with one of our sweep teams if you haven’t already found a group as a guest rower. You’ll need to pay for your sweep coaching fees in addition to membership dues.

ORC has a long history of highly competitive sweep rowing and has repeatedly earned gold, silver and bronze medal finishes at the Head of the Hooch, USRowing Masters Nationals, FISA Masters Worlds, as well as countless Florida and regional regattas. But we also embrace recreational rowing as a lifelong exercise for health and wellbeing.

For those wanting to join a particular sweep rowing team, either competitive or recreational, we can connect you with the boat captain or coach to schedule your first visit. Our team skill levels range from novice, intermediate to advanced.

If you are a sculler, you will not need to pay additional fees to check out our sculling equipment. Visit our reservation system here.
