Learn to Row
Find fitness and friends with the Orlando Rowing Club!
Whether a Learn to Row class is a one day adventure or the beginning of your new fitness routine, we’d love to share our sport with you. In sweep rowing, a rower is either on starboard or port side, and in a four-man or eight-man shell.
The introduction class is three hours, $50, and includes a two-week trial to experience practice with our recreational teams.

After your learn to row class, you’ll build confidence with our recreational teams. If you decide to join a competitive team, you’ll have opportunities to compete locally throughout the Central Florida region, as well as regionally and nationally.
You can also Learn to Scull with us! As a sculler, you’ll have an oar in each hand. It is possible to go out in two-man or four-man boats with other scullers. Many of our sculling members are also part of our recreational and competitive rowing teams.
If you think you would like to learn to row and learn to scull, it doesn’t matter which you start with.
